Bulldog hybrid breeder Grays Yard is nestled away in North County, California. That is just north of San Diego. We are near Del Mar , which is known world wide for its Horse race track , and Long dog beaches just down the road.
Our program specializes in producing unique quality that speaks for itself. This is a special and rare breed . in 2006 i came up with this idea to better the American bulldog and Olde English Bulldogge breed for my taste and many more. fore the fact that most AM bulldogs I've seen don't strike me as being bully or as small athletic and stocky enough to represent the old 18th century bulldog. and as too many genetic defects come with the AKC English bulldog, my desired temperament for foundation. i started searching and fell in love with the Olde English Bulldogge(OEB). being open to all bulldogs i set out to find the best. and because most OEB temperament was too lazy for my busy life, i found and fell in love with the American bulldog. bigger the bullier the better! but soon i learned about the genetic disorders that plague them! so i thought why not create my own bully. i grew up with all my family involved in the American bully scene. so i had a little help, i searched all over and have found a great family member and a one of a kind American bulldog. great temperament, athletic , ball drive, agility, social, loyal and protective traits while achieving the more small, stocky, big head, bully hard core looks. our program specializes in Health, i do not breed for color, I feel that this can best be accomplished by breeding for the function of the breed. When you do this, all the vital characteristics of the breed will fall into its place. When you breed for working ability, temperament, athleticism and drive. you cannot overlook any traits that make a dog a stable, healthy, structurally sound, responsible member of society. our o.e.b. F1 bloodlines consist of: 2/3 American bulldog, 1/4 English bulldog, 1/12 bull mastiff, 1/12 American Staffordshire terrier. all pups are registered as our own f1 foundation stock with the World Bulldog Alliance. we feel strongly about helping better the Olde English Bulldogge breed for our taste and more. since the OEB is supposed to be a healthy recreation. it would only make sense to open the registry books and start expanding the bloodlines. we strive for a more healthy, athletic, and genetically sound OEB. our dogs are guaranteed against cleft foot, hip dysplasia, cherry eye and other genetic diseases that now commonly plague the OEB due to in-breeding or improper line breeding.
we do have gottiline studs and we plan on doing breeding in the near future. we just acquired two infamous Gotti LowRider, ace lines.. we plan on working gottiline as well as our f1 GY Bulldogge lines.
