Judy began her love affair with the bully breeds in 1997 with her American Pit Bull Terriers, Croc and Alli. Judy trained them to work closely with her as investigators, and they continued in their task until her accident in 2006 after which they were retired. She quickly realized that people's perceptions about the breed were incorrect. At the same time, she developed a love and passion for the Bull Terrier as well. The Bull Terrier, due to its resemblance to the APBT and its terrier nature, is now being included in breed specific legislation (BSL). She is a member of Bull Terrier Club of America (BTCA) and is the BTCA Legislative Liaison Chair. She loves bully breeds and is working hard to combat BSL and to promote positive news media coverage for our dogs. She owns show dogs, but also owns a rescue too. Her philosophy is if you show dogs, then you should always own a rescue as well. She also helps breeders with education on overpopulation and health issues involving their breed, she has quite a few informational items on her website, www.chevalier-bullterriers.com
